The difference for me, especially a...Good question. The difference for me, especially after a pasta meal, is the absence of bloating. I wouldn't classify myself as gluten intolerant and I don't think it triggers me, however I do have friends in recovery who abstain from wheat and sugar, where I only abstain from sugar. For some, it does trigger the addictive cycle reactions the same as sugar does for so many.<br />I haven't pinpointed these like reactions in me--but if I can do GF, I do. It's certainly not a non-negotiable issue for me, like my abstinence from sugar. Thank you for the questions!<br />According to medical professionals, only 2% of the population has celiac disease and the absolute medical need to avoid gluten.
