February 22nd, 2019 Different Ways

February 22nd, 2019 Different Ways

Yesterday was a 6-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I met my daily water goal, I enjoyed a good elliptical workout, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.

Yesterday was a good day in a few different ways. I felt like I was catching my breath and calm. It's been an interesting week with different stressors, so to find that was a good thing.

I had a short visit with mom before my workout last night--then made the decision to enjoy a meal out. I've cut way down on the number of meals out in the last month or so thanks to the star system I started using to "grade" my daily practice. Fajita chicken tacos made sense last night--right before my Thursday night support group conference call.

I worked on assembling my standup set after the call last night. My friend Wade Tower and I will perform a stand-up show tonight at a local restaurant. It's a fun way for me to exercise that part of me. It's just for the joy of doing it. The last time I did one of these there, it was a packed room--so we're hoping for the same tonight. Tomorrow night, I'll be speaking in front of an audience too--except it'll be at a special banquet for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Oklahoma. They've asked me to share my story and experience with their incredible program. I'm honored!
Wade and I met at a gig 7 years ago and we've worked together
a few times since. He's a talented singer and comedian!
We enjoy pointing at each other

My morning foundation routine is complete, my food is planned and packed for breakfast and lunch, and I'm about to walk out the door into my Friday. Before I go...

Another 8-week session of the private support group I facilitate starts next week. The opportunity to join our group comes around once every two months. We only have a couple of openings this time. If you have interest and questions, email me right away and I'll reply with answers to your questions: transformation.road@gmail.com

Thank you for reading and your continued support,
Practice, peace, and calm,
Sean
