Yesterday was a 4-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I exceeded my daily water goal, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.
Today was the 40th Anniversary of the radio station where I work. We spent the day raising money for the Red Cross Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund. It was a good experience.
A little before 5pm, I got a call from the nursing home where mom lives informing me that they're calling an ambulance to get her to the hospital. They've determined she has pneumonia and a really bad UTI. She's sicker than she was the last time. The pneumonia diagnosis is a new thing.
I'm grateful she's getting the medical attention she needs tonight.
Keeping this one short tonight and dropping in bed.
Thank you for reading and your continued support,
Practice, peace, and calm,
Sean
