July 3rd, 2019 Full Day

July 3rd, 2019 Full Day

Monday and Tuesday were 4-star days: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I met my daily water goal, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.

Mom continues to do well in her recovery. Physical therapy took her for a walk again yesterday afternoon. I stayed connected via phone with her nurses and with mom on Tuesday. Since she's doing so well now and my schedule yesterday ended up including some minor weather coverage last evening, I stayed home instead of visiting mom at the hospital. The discharge decision will be made this morning at 9am and the nurses I spoke with all believe she'll be released today. I plan on picking up portable oxygen and heading her way to bring her back home, sometime early today.

I did a rare Tuesday morning location broadcast from another blood drive yesterday--that, along with other commitments later in the afternoon made it a full day. I hit the grocery store just after 5pm for a few dinner items, then it was home to prepare a good meal. One of my food plan goals yesterday was to eat dinner earlier, and I accomplished that goal.

My morning routine is complete, my food is planned for today, and I'm prepared for a good Wednesday.

Thank you for reading and your continued support,
Practice, peace, and calm,
Sean
