I chose to make this a rest day, early in the day and I'm glad I did. It prevented me from wrestling with myself about if I should or shouldn't. It was decided and this alleviated any negative feelings about not working out, as it occasionally happens when my plans change.
My plan to make a trip back to my hometown tonight and visit with relatives who traveled across the country for the funeral, was a fantastic idea. I hadn't seen them in a couple of years. They're heading back to Minnesota Friday morning, so tonight, late, was my chance. I enjoyed the visit very much. Glad I made the time to get there and catch up.
Unfortunately it's late and I'll need to rely on the tweets to wrap this post for me tonight.

ReplyDeleteHey Sean, Glad you got together with some family and my condolences on your loss.
I haven't mastered a sane fitness schedule quite yet. Moreover one of my friends just strapped a pedometer on me as a challenge to ramp up a challenge. Hopefully we can all find a reasonable balance in this?
Be well my friend.
A challenge within a challenge? :) My schedule varies accordingly to a number of factors. Sometimes it can't be helped--other times, I'm just procrastinating! Thank you, Alan!
Deletesorry for your loss, my friend. Hope your energy level returns soon for you. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gwen. I feel much better as I write this on Thursday night.
