May 2nd, 2019 Still Possible

May 2nd, 2019 Still Possible

Yesterday was a 4-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I exceeded my daily water goal, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.

Last night was another rough one. Apparently, my sinus infection is revving up again. As soon as I laid down the radiating pain in my mouth started. It's a positional thing. It didn't bother me all evening, then I hit the pillow and bam, here we go. I secured another ZPack prescription and if this doesn't kick it, I'll be going to the doctor very soon.

With very little sleep last night, today was a super-challenging one. I don't do well on little sleep. I had to be back to work this afternoon for an hour, so I took off a touch early in order to rest some. I made a good store trip, picked up the meds, and I'm feeling much better this evening.

It's days like this when I must be extra diligent with my daily practice. Being tired is a vulnerable position, but with some structured intentional actions, it's still possible to make it through a rough day. I mean, really--rough days happen. Right? Yep.

Thank you for reading and your continued support,
Practice, peace, and calm,
Sean
