I forgot to take the melatonin last night before bed. I planned on taking a couple to help me sleep through the early morning. I was in bed by 11pm and I slept until 8:45am! I didn't wake one time for nine hours and forty-five minutes, without the influence of the melatonin! I must have been really tired.
I felt amazing all day. I hit the Y this afternoon and took it up a level. Level 11 instead of level 10. You wouldn't think it would make a very big difference, but it does. I worked it hard and felt super accomplished.
I made the trip East late this afternoon to see my girlfriend for date night! We dined out right before seeing Gone Girl. Oh wow. It was an amazing film. The writing should win all kinds of awards. The best thing--I was able to stay awake for a two hour and twenty minute movie after being up all day! That's what nearly 10 hours of sleep does to me!
I'm looking forward to a good workout tomorrow morning!

It's workout time, early (for me), on a Saturday! At YMCA for a sweaty elliptical ride. Level 11 is the plan.

Level 11 rocks. Wow. It's always surprising to me the difference 1 level makes on this thing. Dripping. #goodsweat pic.twitter.com/xxnd7edkwG

Thank you for reading and your support,
Strength,

I don't know Sean. I liked Gone Girl until the ending. Left me a bit unfulfilled. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Michael--The ending wasn't what I wanted at all. Well written in every other way.
DeleteI only get to see kids' movies these days. The BoxTrolls was good.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work getting up to 11!
Thank you, Natalie!! I understand totally--It's been 17-20 years since that time for me--but I remember, it was all kids movies for a while when my daughters were young.
DeleteGreat job on the elliptical! I loved the book so that means I can't watch the movie because I've already seen it in my mind and it won't be like I thought lol sounds like you're having a great weekend, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Alati! I didn't know it was an adapted screenplay!! It's a wonderful weekend, indeed!
DeleteGood for you on the sleep, I don't have to tell you how important it is. I used to take melatonin myself a few years back, but I stopped because I was always feeling groggy in the morning. I'm with Natalie; don't get many date nights these days, but really enjoyed the Lego Movie. Boxtrolls is next on our list. Stay Strong my friend!

ReplyDeleteVery good to talk to you, Jon! Sounds like you're doing very well! I'll see you later this week!
DeleteIt was an intense movie, for sure!
Your Packers took care of business today!
