I woke this morning, still sick, still feeling horrible and generally like crud. I took a sick day, except I absolutely had things that needed to be produced today, so I made it in for a little while today. If I do not feel 100% tomorrow, I'm making a doctors appointment.
I did eat more today and this general nausea isn't as bad as yesterday, so I suppose I'm getting better. I've decided to help this along with some more rest. I'll be in bed before 8pm tonight.
Instead of writing more tonight, or doing anything else--I'm going to bed.

Thank you for reading and your incredible support,
Strength,
Sean
Get some rest. Hope you Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Alati!
DeleteSounds like you are fighting off a virus. Get lots of rest, and drink lots of liquids, especially water but easy on the coffee. Hope by tomorrow you'll have shaken it off. Sleep well!
ReplyDeleteI slept very well-- a lot! And viola!! I feel much better!
DeleteI hope you feel better soon Sean. Sounds like some stomach virus. Either that it's just love. One or the other. :) Feel better buddy.
ReplyDeleteMichael--you're good, my friend! ;) I'm feeling much better. Thank you!
DeleteYour body said get some rest and you obeyed--- great job! Our bodies do a great job of telling us what we need to do--when we actually listen. (I override mine more than I'd like to admit)
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better tomorrow!
P.S. I love iced coffee. Mine has a lot more calories than yours-- I may need to follow your lead and go with the lower calorie version.
I feel much better! I still wasn't sure about the iced coffee low cal version--until I went ingredient by ingredient with the person making mine-- 1. Cold black coffee 2. ice 3. sugar free flavored zero calorie syrup (loaded with artificial sweeteners, I'm sure--and not stevia, I'm certain) 4. My choice: Skim milk, 2%, or half and half.
DeleteThen I add a stevia packet when I have one handy.
The regular iced coffee uses the regular syrups with sugar and calories. The calories are not too bad, still--but of course with me--no sugar!!
I enjoy the lower calorie version--and so far, the A.S. do not seem to mess with me too much, as far as cravings go. I know for some the A.S. can act the same as sugar as far as triggering cravings and struggle.
The only calories in the low cal version is whatever you decide to use to "lighten" it up. I prefer half and half, of course-- but 2% isn't bad. I think I sometimes annoy the people at Starbucks because I'm fairly insistent sometimes on knowing how much they're using, "So, is that a 1/4 cup of 2%?--I need to know how much." I'm sure they just say yes to get me to leave... LOL... but whatever it is, more or less--it's close enough for me.
You're so right about our bodies telling us what we need!
Hope your feeling better Sean. I worry sometimes if your getting all the nutrients you need from your daily calorie intake. Might be a good idea to replace the coffee with one of your shakology packets, or temporary up the calorie intake increase the amount of nutrition in your diet at least until your feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jon. Great idea about the Shakeology packets. I'm feeling better now-- but I'll seriously consider your advice. I do feel like I'm getting enough, though. I'll see. Thank you, Jon!
DeleteTake care of yourself, Sean, or let someone else take care of you if possible. Here's hoping that tomorrow you'll feel better.
ReplyDeleteI do feel much better! Thank you Becky!!
DeleteHope the worst is over by the time you read this. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is over! Feeling good, Gwen!
DeleteFeel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Connie!
DeleteHere's to some healing thoughts! Feel better today! Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteRosie
Taking good care, for sure. Thank you, Rosie!
DeleteGet better soon! Sounds like it could be the flu. This is the time of the year for that. Glad you are listening to what your body needs - that's important. Again, please get well soon!
ReplyDeleteI think I lucked out, Nancy-- Not the flu, because I feel much better. Not sure what it was all about. Glad it seems to be over.
DeleteFinally the right "publish as" came through. Don't know what was happening there.
ReplyDeleteN-
It works!! :)
