October 11th, 2014 Nearly Ten Hours

October 11th, 2014 Nearly Ten Hours

I forgot to take the melatonin last night before bed. I planned on taking a couple to help me sleep through the early morning. I was in bed by 11pm and I slept until 8:45am! I didn't wake one time for nine hours and forty-five minutes, without the influence of the melatonin! I must have been really tired.

I felt amazing all day. I hit the Y this afternoon and took it up a level. Level 11 instead of level 10. You wouldn't think it would make a very big difference, but it does. I worked it hard and felt super accomplished.

I made the trip East late this afternoon to see my girlfriend for date night! We dined out right before seeing Gone Girl. Oh wow. It was an amazing film. The writing should win all kinds of awards. The best thing--I was able to stay awake for a two hour and twenty minute movie after being up all day! That's what nearly 10 hours of sleep does to me!

I'm looking forward to a good workout tomorrow morning!

  1. I don't know Sean. I liked Gone Girl until the ending. Left me a bit unfulfilled. Oh well.

    1. I agree, Michael--The ending wasn't what I wanted at all. Well written in every other way.

  3. Great job on the elliptical! I loved the book so that means I can't watch the movie because I've already seen it in my mind and it won't be like I thought lol sounds like you're having a great weekend, enjoy!

  4. Good for you on the sleep, I don't have to tell you how important it is. I used to take melatonin myself a few years back, but I stopped because I was always feeling groggy in the morning. I'm with Natalie; don't get many date nights these days, but really enjoyed the Lego Movie. Boxtrolls is next on our list. Stay Strong my friend!
