Today: I maintained the integrity of my maintenance calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I met my daily water goal, and I stayed connected with good support.
During past weight loss attempts, I was always worried about time. How long will this take? At my heaviest, the answer was often enough to discourage and ultimately derail my efforts. When I decided to stop worrying about time, I shifted the focus to me and the choices I knew were right and good. Time does its thing and I do mine, and occasionally we recognize each other. And soon I'm reminded of Simon's lyric: “Time, time, time, see what's become of me, while I looked around for my possibilities..."
