Yesterday was a 7-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I met my daily water goal, I had a good elliptical workout, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.
Time management has been a constant challenge for me for as long as I can remember. What's interesting to me is how I can clearly see ways to manage time better--and still, I struggle with making those better choices. I can multitask like a champion when my back is against the wall, but really, that pattern creates unnecessary stress. This time management thing is certainly a work in progress.
I got everything I wanted to get done yesterday, done, so that was good.
After a short visit at mom's last night, I made my way to the RecPlex for an elliptical workout. The rush of endorphins after a solid session always feels amazing. When I'm feeling like that, I can see better paths and choices a little more clearly.
The questions I'm pulling from yesterday: In what ways can I reduce stress and anxiety by managing my time better? In what ways can I benefit the most from the post workout feel-good period? I think it's probably the best time to create new or modify existing action plans.
A daily practice, right? Absolutely.
