Yesterday was a 4-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I exceeded my daily water goal, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.
The medicine is starting to work well. Today was much better than yesterday, I'm so grateful! I'm one of those people who, as soon as I start feeling better, I get sloppy on keeping up the medicine. I'm committed to not doing that this time. I'm taking it all--the entire 10 days worth. I don't want to experience this again!
I picked up mom for our Mother's Day outing. We enjoyed a good meal and a nice visit at our favorite little Mexican restaurant. I did my usual fajita chicken tacos and it was perfect. We took a nice extended drive after dinner, sightseeing really--visited a couple of lakes, some historical places too, and stopped for a coffee before I took her back to her place. In honor of mom on this day, I thought I'd share some of our favorite photos from over the years.
It was a good Mother's Day!
