May 5th, 2019 Let It Be

May 5th, 2019 Let It Be

Yesterday was a 4-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I met my daily water goal, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.

Today included an outing with Noah to the movie Ugly Dolls and a few rounds of air hockey where he showcased his radical air hockey skills in the defeat of his Po Po. We jammed to Imagine Dragons all the way to the theater. Yeah, they're his favorite. It's kind of like how I was a huge fan of Supertramp at five years old. One big discovery this weekend: That boy can sing! Like, in tune-in harmony, sing, sing...at five. It was the coolest thing to witness.

As soon as I returned Noah home, the evening started unraveling. I made an urgent production meeting with a client at 8pm immediately followed by severe weather coverage at the studio until after midnight.

Technically, I missed a day. This post is back-dated for the 5th, but yeah-- the time I had to compose the post I planned wasn't available. I suppose once in five years worth of daily posts isn't the end of the world, so--I'll just let it be. That's the advice my coffee mug is giving me this morning.

Thank you for reading and your continued support,
Practice, peace, and calm,
Sean
